What Happens After You Get in Touch?

We call you back to ask a few questions and book a time. At the visit we measure, look at what is under the existing concrete where we can, check which way water is running, and work out how a truck reaches the pour. That usually takes twenty to thirty minutes and you do not need to be home for all of it.

The written estimate follows, itemised by line so you can see what demolition, base, steel, concrete, and finishing each cost. If there is a cheaper approach that would hold, it is on the same sheet. Nothing is charged for any of this and nobody follows up more than once.

What Should You Tell Us When You Call?

None of this is required, but it helps us arrive ready:

• Roughly what size the area is — paces are fine.
• What is there now — concrete, asphalt, pavers, or bare ground.
• What it is doing — cracking, sinking, flaking, holding water.
• Whether there is a deadline — a closing, a family event, or a city notice about the walk out front.
• How a truck would get in — a shared drive or a narrow side yard changes the approach.

Photos are welcome by email and often save a trip. If you are planning a patio for next summer rather than dealing with something urgent, say so — winter is a good time to design and price that work without anyone rushing.

How Far Out Are You Booking?

Lead times move with the season. Spring and early autumn are the busiest stretches of the year for concrete, and booking in those windows usually means waiting a few weeks for a start date. Midsummer tends to open up. Winter work is possible with cold-weather protection when a job cannot wait, though we will tell you plainly when holding off until the ground warms gets you a better slab for the same money. Either way you get a real date at the estimate rather than a hopeful one, and a call if weather moves it.

Do You Handle Emergencies?

Yes, within reason. A step that has collapsed, a slab break that has left a doorway unusable, or a section of walk that is an immediate hazard gets a same-day or next-day visit to make it safe, with the permanent repair scheduled afterward. Call and say it is urgent rather than emailing.
